glitz engine does nothing. it's empty - just in case one day i might have time
and energy to write a glitz based engine. as for gl-x11 - this is the native gl
engine - if you have an app that can use the gl engine and will get benefits -
and you have a modern 3d card that is very well supported, and the drivers are
stable - it might be worth it. i use the gl engine for rage myself as i use
rage to do hdtv (1920x1080) video.
