Hello, all. I have for some time been using e-17 from e-develop.org Debian: unstable. Usually I upgrade twice per week or more if packages change quickly. However for the last three weeks I've not been able to get beyond the e-17 login dialog screen. After typing the appropriate password then press enter the screen blanks as usual only to return to the login again. I've cleared the previous config., done the ubiquitous > dpkg --purge e-17 <, and > dpkg --purge entrance < then reinstall them and reboot..... SAME result! Using default theme, all the Gnome and KDE environments. So in frustration have been using fluxbox. But I surely would like to get E back. Any ideas where to look?
