Now, e17 detects usb devices and shows an icon for them on the
desktop. But till then, it hasn't mounted them as no entry is provided
in /media/.... That link shows up when i open the USB device in the
e17 file manager. And it's unmounted the moment e17 file manager is
closed.

The problem is that it's always mounted as read only. The only way I
could delete files was by doing it as root. The files were deleted,
but it gave me an error that the device is busy.

any ideas?
