it's searching for ecore.pc and ecore-file.pc in /usr/lib/pkgconfig,
which is the default on most systems, but it can't find them.

I don't know where easy_e17 puts e17, if it installs it in
/usr/local you could do:
export PKG_CONFIG_PATH /usr/local/lib/pkgconfig
then try to build it again.
