some config modules add a menu entry to the config menu (for very commonly
accesses config dialogs). the others only add to the config panel. (modules is
always there. it's built-in). there is a configuration panel module. this
provides the config panel gui. you may want to add that. (note - if you start
with a fresh config for e - no existing config, all of this is already loaded).
