I'll be very sad indeed to see autohide go, as it's going to make running
e17 a bit less convenient on my new eee pc (those screens are so small,
every piece of real estate is so very vital to me).  Is it the case that
there is a deep, fundamental problem with autohide, or simply its current
implimentation gets in the way, or is it just a pain to maintain with other
changes?
