I'm using xorg-server 1.4.0.90 and E17. I'm seeing a problem with shaped borders which I have seen ever since I switched to xorg-server 1.4.0.90. It's rather like E and the server aren't communicating properly to each other as to the shape of the window borders.
I took 3 snapshots. Only one is with the default theme as the default theme is too plainly-shaped to show all of the problems. The first is of a default-type border in the "23oz of Glass" style: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/ethan.grammatikidis/e17-not-handling-shaped-borders.png The white pixel droppings should not be there, nor should the background be so black. The second is the shaped-type border of the default style: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/ethan.grammatikidis/e17-not-handling-shaped-borders-2.png My background should be showing along the sides and bottom, and it is not solid black. The 3rd is of a shaped-type border on a shaped window: http://homepage.ntlworld.com/ethan.grammatikidis/e17-not-handling-shaped-borders-3.png Corruption may particularly be seen around the bottom resize-handles. I can't see any problems with shaped windows themselves (although I only have xeyes and xlogo to test with), hence my wondering if it's E17. -- Ethan Grammatikidis 16:32:10 <+flux_control> git blame "struct filled with hex" && shoot_on_sight ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by the 2008 JavaOne(SM) Conference Register now and save $200.
