Yes we can have this, but make it an option. I mean: normally the script 
use the internal list, but if it found the foo.list file then this will be 
used instead of the internal one.
I prefer this way so I can distribute a single file.

You mean to process every dir in cvs? hmmm, there are a good number of 
broken/unmaintened/not_autotool package in cvs, an Install command 
on everyone will never reach the end. The script act also as a 'filter'
on cvs content, so I would say no to this one.

yes, of course I have no problem with this. But remember that any changes
must work on all the tested distro ...and trust me, this is the most
annoying part ;)
