The reason is that I don't use E17 as my default desktop environment,
and I really don't like to see all thoose useless <storage>.desktop files
on Gnome desktop. But, if you tell me that the $HOME/Desktop path reflects
a freedesktop standard it's OK for me. The way MS messes with standards
is one of the reasons why I started to use Linux.
