Guys,

        I am building e16-1.0.1 on opensuse 10.3 and I have imlib2-1.3.0-66.5

/usr/bin/imlib2_test
/usr/bin/imlib2_view
/usr/lib/libImlib2.so.1

/usr/share/imlib2/data/images/imlib2.png
/usr/share/imlib2/data/images/lock.png
/usr/share/imlib2/data/images/mail.png
/usr/share/imlib2/data/images/menu.png
/usr/share/imlib2/data/images/mush.png
/usr/share/imlib2/data/images/paper.png
/usr/share/imlib2/data/images/sh1.png

/usr/share/imlib2/data/images/sh3.png
/usr/share/imlib2/data/images/stop.png
/usr/share/imlib2/data/images/tnt.png

  However, ./configure complains:

checking for IMLIB2... configure: error: Package requirements (imlib2 >=
1.2.0) were not met:

No package 'imlib2' found

Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
installed software in a non-standard prefix.

Alternatively, you may set the environment variables IMLIB2_CFLAGS
and IMLIB2_LIBS to avoid the need to call pkg-config.
See the pkg-config man page for more details.

I have run pkg-config imlib2, but I still get the error. I know this is
just
stupidity and inexperience on my part, but --- What's the trick?
