If Settings -> Placement -> "Place windows under mouse" is selected and
the mouse is near a xinerama border (between two monitors) then new
windows will pop up centered on the mouse thus spanning the xinerama
border. On the other hand, if the mouse is near an actual screen border
new windows will pop up fully on-screen, as they are supposed to.

IMO, with xinerama enabled, the xinerama border between monitor should
be respected and treated just like the actual borders of the screen.
New windows should never pop up straddling a xinerama border. One
exception to this rule is when "Place windows manually" is selected.
In that case new windows can straddle xinerama borders. But this is
consistent with how the actual screen borders are treated when that
option is selected. New windows can be partially off-screen to the
right and down because the user is going to manually place the window
via the upper left hand corner of the window anyway.

It's possible this is a regression in version 1.04 but I'm not at all
sure.

Peace, James
