Hello everyone!
I've got some strangle problem with mouse position detection within
applications using Java AWT. It has been been there as long as I can
remember so I tried to avoid Java whenever it was possible. However
lately I need to use several Java applications so I'm facing this
problem much more often.

It's hard to describe, actually I'm not even sure if I'd be able to
describe it in my native language. The problem is that when I use the
maximize button with some AWT application it seems like the AWT thinks
the cursor is somewhere else than it really is. To make it more clear
I recorded short video showing the problem within IntelliJ IDEA
community edition:
http://blender6xx.ic.cz/pub/mouse_problem.ogv (firefox should be able
to play it directly).
The interesting thing is that it doesn't happen if I resize window manually.

I tried several other window managers (eg. KWin, MWM) and it worked
fine. It happens with both Oracle's Java and and OpenJDK.

I was searching for this problem and found two old discussions with
Java misbehaving but without any solution:

http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/msg09689.html

Any ideas? Should I file a bug report?

Have a nice day,
Lukas
