Hmmm, I've played with things a bit this morning. It has to do with
iceweasel. I have two gnome-terminal windows and an iceweasel window
open. If I switch between the terminals with alt-tab, it's fast as
usual.

When I switch to the iceweasel window, enlightenment shoots up to
about 50% CPU usage for about three seconds. During this time, the
mouse is responsive to movement, but I cannot perform any window
manager actions - minimize, roll-up, open a menu, etc. Window
decorations do not get their usual animations. The issue appears
independent of what webpage is loaded - it happens with 10 tabs of
complex layouts as well as one tab of about:blank.

I thought it might have to do with the unusually large window size of
a web browser, but not so - larger terminals and openoffice don't
trigger the issue.

Not sure how to go about troubleshooting this. Any tips would be
appreciated!

Ross
