it has never worked here :(
also the icon in the shelf isn't updated when I change the brightness via
keystrokes.
I've configured 3 keybindings to set, increase and decrease brightness. if I
change the brightness through the gadget cursor the icon changes its color to
reflect the current setting, but if I change the brightness through the
associated keys (or decrease it through the mouse wheel) the icon remains as
it is until I click on it (clicking on it it displays the slider and the icon
gets updated).
tried both with the default theme and with efenniht.
