I have submitted this issue as ticket #805 a week ago, but I thoght I might get some additional feedback here.
I am running kernel 2.6.39-2 with Bodhi Linux on my Asus eeePC 701 4G. The Enlightenment temperature gadget displays "N/A". This is apparently due to a new location for sensor output data that has been in effect since kernel 2.6.37. The /proc locations for sensor data have been deprecated and the data moved to /sys replacement directories. See, for example: http://cateee.net/lkddb/web-lkddb/ACPI_PROCFS_POWER.html Reverting to kernel 2.6.35, the Temperature gadget displays correctly, and the directory /proc/acpi/thermal_zone exists. Has anybody else had this issue with the Temperature gadget? -- - Jeff ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ 10 Tips for Better Web Security Learn 10 ways to better secure your business today.
