I don't use fileman, but every fresh config I have tried and I have tried
twice more (once in a Vmware installation and once in ubuntu installation)
over the past year, this directory gets created. It's created because
default e comes loaded with fileman module.

I mentioned root because I tried it out in Xephyr while I was logged in as a
user in vt7. I don't want to have to relogin and lose my work windows so I
tried out the next account I have on this system, and that is root.

All of the data generated in your IT infrastructure is seriously valuable.
Why? It contains a definitive record of application performance, security
threats, fraudulent activity, and more. Splunk takes this data and makes
sense of it. IT sense. And common sense.
