I do live in the more tropical parts of Australia, without air conditioning. For my last computer I had to watch the internal temperatures carefully on hot days, and not do certain things like lengthy compiles and 3D virtual worlds. Otherwise it would over heat and shut down. My current computer is better behaved, but I keep an eye on things just out of habit. Oh, and I never relied on the E CPU temp module, it always read the wrong sensor, or averaged the right one with the wrong ones, giving nonsensical results. When it's 40 degrees indoors, I'm almost positive my CPU is not running at 27 degrees. lol -- A big old stinking pile of genius that no one wants coz there are too many silver coated monkeys in the world. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Live Security Virtual Conference Exclusive live event will cover all the ways today's security and threat landscape has changed and how IT managers can respond.
