Good morning, I encountered an issue where I had properly compiled ethumb with emotion using gstreamer and not xine. On a particular system where I was missing some gstreamer plugins, basically opening efl to a directory with videos, would grind the whole computer to a crawl. Ethumb did not manage to generate thumbnails due to the missing codecs, and it took a huge amount of time for it to display the standard "no thumbnail" image. While trying to generate the thumbnail, everything else pretty much stopped functioning.
