Have heard great reviews of the Enlightment project and its libraries.
Wanted to try building from scratch in the MinGW/msys environment.

I noticed the libraries were listed here:
http://enlightenment.org/
However, the link to Evil 1.7.1 failed when I clicked it. I did check
the directory and there's a version 1.7.0, but I couldn't find 1.7.1.

So, I started compiling using evil-1.7.0.tar.bz2. Everything seemed
to build fine. The problem came when I attempted to install the files
to my /usr/local directory within msys. I ended up with a file
collision. I've already installed libdl.dll from
http://code.google.com/p/dlfcn-win32/ Compiling evil-1.7.0.tar.bz2
also generates a libdl.dll. The sizes aren't anywhere close between
the two dlls, so I would guess they have different functionality and
couldn't simply replace each other. Does anyone know a way of fixing
the naming collision? Is the evil version of libdl.dll needed or can
it be renamed to something that won't interfere with the other library
I already have installed?

Any help or suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Sincerely,
Laura
