The problem solved, I rebooted and now the clock setting dialogue and the calendar shows as it should be.

I love the default theme so much. I have a small problem though. When right-click the clock in shelf, the usual menu doesn't come up. So I can't change the analogue to digital. The calendar doesn't show either. I searched for the clock setting in the settings dialogue but couldn't find it. Any idea how to change the clock from analogue to digital?
