Hi, I have a strange idea for how this mouseover should function, i think it might be intuitive to users.
When the user's mouse moves over a folder, and the mouseover preview window opens, focus should be given to the preview window. The items inside the preview window respond if the user interacts with them. If the user moves the mouse towards things outside the preview window, the preview disappears. If the user interacts with something in the preview window, the main view is swapped with the preview. However since the preview is no longer describing something inside the main view, it can be shown on the far corner, so it's not in the way.
