dri stuff is not relevant unless you changed the elm default enigne to use gl instead of software. otherwise root vs user is irrelevant to terminology. it may be relevant to loading settings if they happen to have been written by root in $HOME and thus not belong to the user who owns $HOME$. > Not the end of the world, but just annoying as the previous version I had > from around october was fine.
