But it makes the desktop behave strangely. On the right screen, if I move the mouse to the right edge, the right desktop is switched to desktop 2 on screen2, the desktop 1 of screen 2 is move to the left but behind the current desktop of screen1... So I have 2 desktops that want to show on the left monitor but I see only the one on front... Strange behavior isn't ? I would expect the desktop from the right screen to move on the left screen. I understand that screen1 can be a different size that screen2, but it brings a counterintuitive desktop move. Same counterintuitive thing happen when I bring the first desktop back on the right monitor. The desktop that was under the left desktop suddenly appears on front of the left desktop and the animation move it to the right monitor... I'm sorry but it confuses me!
The model should be Virtual Screen --> Desktop --> Monitors instead of Virtual Screen --> Monitor --> Desktop . Is there anything that we can do to improve this behavior ? I have to check, but I 'd say KDE and Gnome have exactly the same problem with desktop managing vs 2 external monitors.
