Hi All,
This may be an edge case, but for years now I have not managed to get Gkrellms
to work as a start up application with e17. What happens is that the bottom
of the Gkrellms stack will not render at start up, if any gadgets are placed
in the vicinity on the desktop. The way I have it on my desktop Gkrellms
takes up (almost) the top half of the screen on the right hand edge and the
e17 gadgets start about 15mm below that.
When the desktop loads the bottom 1/3 of Gkrellms is screwd up and no Gkrellms
are working (they are frozen, do not update). If I go to Main
Menu/Enlightenment/Restart then it renders properly and there's no problem
thereafter.
When I'm on the move with no Internet connection, the Gkrellms stack is
shorter and it renders fine. On occasions some glitch happens at start up and
the Gkrellms stack shows up on the left hand edge of the screen, overlapping
the Home icon. Surprisingly it renders fully and works fine if I drag it to
its place at the right hand edge of the desktop.
Would you know if there is a fix for this somewhat annoyingly persistent
problem?
