I can confirm that firefox works fine here with SIGSTOP and SIGCONT, *but*
battery consumption has gone up with enlightenment-0.17.5_pre1 on gentoo with
an RV730/M96-XT [Mobility Radeon HD 4670] video card and the radeon driver.
It was fine with 0.17.3, so it must be something that came about in the last
two versions.
Enlightenment stays at around 13.5% of CPU and 2% of memory most of the time
according to top. From what I recall it used to be 10-15% lower with 0.17.3,
but I'm going from memory here.
