I want to try out Enlightenment on top of a lubuntu installation, but i'm unable to get it to start correctly.
I downloaded and installed it from here: http://www.enlightenment.org/p.php?p=download&l=en with no obvious error. Whatever i do, it finishes in the error above. Lightdm recognizes and offers enlightenment as an environment option but it finishes immediately into a new login. When i try to start from a console (accessed by Alt-Ctrl-F1) doing first startx and then enlightenment_start the process finishes to the console giving me, at the end: <<<< Enlightenment Error >>>> Enlightenment cannot initialize Ecore_X! Frankly, i don't have any idea where to tweak the config files.
