Hi.

If you make it able to sit as a 'systray' type iconised app.

When minimised the app shouldn't use minimum resources (as default)
unless the mouse hovers over it (or single click), when maybe it could
open a small tooltip type window. Double click to open the main app.

As a user one thing I miss from this type of app...

A right mouse click should pull up a short menu, such as a 'kill'
item, that turns your mouse into an app killer which when you click
on an open window will immediately 'kill' the window (or open a
default message in the app, as would happen if you send a kill
command to it from the command line).

I remember this type of functionality in one of the 'top' apps from
ages ago, but haven't seen it again recently.

As an admin (power user etc).

could it be possible to connect the app to a remote machine (eg. to
see the state of an overloaded server).
I am aware that this can be achieved in other ways, with other tools
(eg http://packages.debian.org/sid/psensor) but may be interesting
to home users - i'm thinking those running a headless media server etc.

Just my thoughts... feel free to say 'no I won't do that' or 'maybe you
(ie me) should make an admin version' - unfortunately python is my least
favourite language!

David

ps. sorry for long post.
