OK, good to hear the udisk/udisks2 combo is ok. And just for clarity, the
issue isn't just with automouting, it with any kind of mounting through
enlightenment, including opening or right-clicking & selecting 'mount'.

unfortunately, rebuilding enlightenement after installing udisks(1) didn't
help. Also, disabling udisks support entirely with --disable-mount-udisks
and using --enable-mount-eeze jsut resulted in e not noticing usb's getting
inserted.

here are the two thread's I found about this issue:
http://comments.gmane.org/gmane.comp.window-managers.enlightenment.devel/54646
and
http://forums.bodhilinux.com/index.php?/topic/8583-unable-to-mount-usb-stick-with-specified-time-out/
but the first implies removing udisks helps (which it doesn't in my case)
and the second says using the places module worked, but I don't have places
installed.

Any other ideas how to fix the "org.freedesktop.fm2.MountTimeout" rule?
