I am pretty sure I had the same problem with fedora 21, but I just installed E17 again, and selected in on login, put in my password, clicked the button. the screen goes blank, then it takes me right back to the login screen. No idea where to look, any suggestions? fedora 22 amd X86_64. I deleted the .e folder, tried again. It recreated that folder and still crashed.
