it is NOT an e issue. e is not involved in chromes internal ipc and
synchronization between its processes. i ahve even dug into there being any
message from crhome or special properties etc. - it simply just stops on its
own.

that is a toolkit issue for thunderbird and its use of gtk. :)

not out yet - it is in feature freeze in git preparing for release. you would
need to compile it yourself.
