I beg your pardon, I should have said Left Click.  Right click brings up the 
Favourites menu, which unless you have already set your favourite 
applications, will be empty.

This means that something is amiss with your build.  Left click on any 
elements within the Windows tab should open a new pop up with sub-options 
within it.

It is not like this here, so it may be worth either reinstalling just in case, 
or trying with a test user account?

Not that I know of.  Have a look here for the various settings, but if your 
installation is corrupted you may be better off starting afresh:
