There is no Remove.

If I right-click on the clockface, I get a dialog which says:

Show Seconds                   Off
Date Display                   None
Weekend Start                  Saturday
Weekend End                    Sunday
Timezone                       System
Background                     Foreground

(the last two are color selectors).
