Hello. I just run my monthly update on the packaging status of EFL in various distros
https://phab.enlightenment.org/w/packaging_status/ Many of them have reasonable up to date versions of EFL and Enlightenment. Other are falling behind and if you are a user of such a distro you might want to ask them to upgrade. Right now I would only consider efl >= 1.18 reasonable. It has been released almost 15 months ago and it is also the version where we merged elementary and the extra loader into the main efl release. If I look through the list I see the following distros which should imho upgrade and if you use them you might have an interest in it. Debian: there is work ongoing to update in experimental. It is dragging along for a while now but they at least update packages in experimental. Ubuntu: pretty much the same as Debian. Not sure if there is actualy anyone inside the Ubuntu community who cares about these packages or if they simply sync whatever Debian does here. Exherbo: anyone using this here? I ignore win-builds and Tizen here. regards Stefan Schmidt ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Check out the vibrant tech community on one of the world's most engaging tech sites, Slashdot.org! http://sdm.link/slashdot _______________________________________________ enlightenment-users mailing list enlightenment-users@lists.sourceforge.net https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/enlightenment-users
