I have been using Enlightenment for quite a while, since around version 0.12,
and I've not run into this issue until now. So, I appologize if this is a
completely noob question...

With the release of 0.25 came the new Flat theme, and with that theme came what
I can only describe as a "startup" sound. While the sound is nifty once or
twice, it does get rather tiresome, and is especially inappropriate in a
business setting. Another sound I would like to disable is the "key click"
sound that happens in Enlightenment dialogs.

My question is, how do I disable the theme specific sounds? I've tried going
into the Pulse Audio mixer and muting "System Sounds", but the next login the
startup sound still plays. Only muting the entire Output Device seems to keep
the sound from playing, but of course then no other audio plays either until
the output is unmuted.

I've looked through the Enlightenment settings several times and not found any
setting that will turn off this sound.

What am I missing?

I have found the themes by simotek
(https://github.com/simotek/Enlightenment-Themes/releases/tag/20220219.1.26).
I'm currently using the Dark theme which does not have a startup sound, but
this is not a complete solution as it also has the "key click" sound and I
would like to use the Flat theme at some point again.

If there indeed is no way to disable the theme based sounds, I would like to
request that this capability be added to a future release of Enlightenment.

Thanks for your help,
