Yes, I have seen this, too. It's another theme based on the default black
theme and some colours added.

I would really love to have the "classic" E themes back, like brushed
metal, but also spiffE. Unfortunately this looks like a project that would
have to be done pretty much from the scratch..

I find the theming API very complex, and I think that some tooling and
maybe a more high-level API would be extremely beneficial. Since E is
pretty much a niche desktop now there won't be too many people contributing
anyway, and given how difficult theming is now the chances are even lower.

This is a pity. I always loved E's "shinyness". But that seems to be gone
for good.
