It needs GTK3 so I fear Debian Squeeze might be a little too old. I know it works with current Fedora or current Ubuntu releases though. It has two full screen modes. The main view maximises the window hiding window titlebars, but still shows the toolbar & other controls. The so called "presentation mode" only shows the image display, but you can't control live-view from that. So it is only useful if you are using the capture shutter button to capture the images, since it downloads them and displays them as captured.
