If the build / install failed, the make output ought to have given you some indication of an error. If you ran 'configure' with the $HOME/usr prefix option, then look for $HOME/usr/bin/entangle - that is the main binary to launch Afraid I've never tried using a Raspberry Pi, so can't offer any tips specific to that platform.
