It looks like there are two bugs here - first libgphoto2 is raising an error - which is what we want to find out about. When entangle is handling the error though, it core dumps - this is because libgphoto2 changed the API for its error handling callbacks, but does not appear to have changed the library soname. Hence I never noticed that the API change. I'll look at doing a new build to fix the core dump, so we can at least find out the real error from libgphoto2 > The source cannot be built as the required gdk-pixbuf (2,12,0) is > not available You need the gdk-pixbuf2-devel RPM - simplest is actually just to run 'yum-builddep entangle' (that command is in yum-utils RPM if you don't already have it installed) > What are you guys useing on fedora? > > BTW trying with Canon d5II as well as Ixus220HS results in coredumps My test cameras are a Canon G1, Canon IXUS v2, Nikon D90 and Nikon Coolpix 4300 Daniel -- |: http://berrange.com -o- http://www.flickr.com/photos/dberrange/ :| |: http://libvirt.org -o- http://virt-manager.org :| |: http://autobuild.org -o- http://search.cpan.org/~danberr/ :| |: http://entangle-photo.org -o- http://live.gnome.org/gtk-vnc :| _______________________________________________ Entangle-devel mailing list Entangle-devel@gna.org https://mail.gna.org/listinfo/entangle-devel
