Hi, Do you know the Libre Graphics Meeting? It is hold every year in a different city/country. This year, it will be hold in Leipzig, Germany from 2nd to 5th of April. And as the name implies, that's a place where users and developers of Free Software dedicated for creation and other graphics content meet up, with conferences, workshops, etc.
I think that Entangle is a very nice software, still rough, but with potential, so it deserves to be better known and gain new developers. Would you not like to participate to present the software? They are going to make a call for projects (normally on Monday if all goes according to plan). I think someone from the project should propose a talk. :-) This is where it will happen (not public yet): http://libregraphicsmeeting.org/2014/ If you want to see the kind of program they have, and other projects usually present there, just have a look at last year page: http://libregraphicsmeeting.org/2013/ Also it is nice to have new projects, and not only the big ones. And I can see that a lot of very nice things can be done with Entangle. For what I am interested in, I can see stopmotion video (not dedicated to it, but with onion skinning, that's a very good contender), astrophotography (not tried Entangle this way yet, but it makes no doubt it would be a very good one), etc. And the awesome things being that it works out of the box with real professional camera, not just webcams (like for stopmotion, the Linux software "stopmotion" has very feeble development, and supports only with webcams, for instance. That's very limiting!).
