You were pretty close - the main thing that was missing were additions
to src/Makefile.am to invoke intltool-merge to stuff the translations
into the final files. I've tweaked your patch and pushed the result.
Now we just have to wait for the Fedora transifex team todo their
magic for the new strings...

Ooopsss you got me! I'm really not a programmer...just tried to
understand how to do it by looking to other projects. Thanks for fixing
my patch!
