It does work ­ flashes for 10 seconds which is good to know, thanks again.

Thanks everyone else for the info too re. switch priorities.

One last question, when upgrading a 2 x C2 switch stack C2 stack to the
latest C2 fw 05.03.02.0010 (from memory), the manager came up quickly but
the 2nd switch took ages to come up ­ about 24 minutes ­ each of the 48
ports took exactly 30 seconds to light up. Any idea why this might happen ­
and is it likely to be indicative of an imminent switch failure?

None of the other switches or stacks I¹ve upgraded have shown the same
behaviour.
