My 2 cents. . .
We are running the newest code available from Enterasys( 7.0.7.3) with no
problems since its release in January.

We use a RADIUS server to tie back into Active Directory. Not sure, but I
think that is the only way. The Roamabout switch doesn't really do AD
authentication directly.

You can assign users to VLAN's based on the SSID they are associated to.

Subject: [enterasys] Roam about 8110

Hi everyone,

I´ve being given the responsability to manage a network where all
switches are enterasys. My first personal task is the Roam About
wireless switch. I want to know its features and find what I can do
with it.

I´m here to ask where can I find documentation describing its features.

First target:
- What is the recomended firmware to use?
- How can I integrate the authentication of the users with my Windows
Active directory?
- Can different users be in diferent vlan?

For now its it. When I get more information I can do more specific question.

Thanks.

Bruno.
