Hi,

One of my customers wants to upgrade from Netsight Atlas 2.1 (as well
as IM) to Netsight 3.1.3, and since I'm way out of date on this, I
would appreciate any advice/gotcha's on the upgrade process. He's using
a Windows Server platform, though I'm not such what exactly.

He has a single user-written flexview which he can take a backup of.

He's asked me :

I downloaded an eval copy to test on a test server. Before I start I
just wanted to know if I can copy templates from the current 2.1
installation to the 3.1.3 version.

I want to ensure we can get the same info aftre the upgrade.

We also need to find out if we will loose the existing data when doing
the upgarde (stats?, backup jobs through IM, alerts, etc')

Regards,

Andy Middlehurst
