We´ve had to replace two so far. Both times we thought the end user was
confusing the 1602 for a smoke detector and "thought" that it was making a
noise, but in the end it *was* the 1602!

Subject: [enterasys] Whistling 1602 AP's...

Does anyone else have whistling 1602 AP's?

We've had quite a few start to emit a whistling noise which if you sit near one
is particularly noticeable and irritating.

We've had 4 replaced already and a quick floor walk shows that another 3 are
also now whistling.

They're about 3 years old - and all under maintenance so not a big issue, but
it does seem like it could be a recurring issue.

Nick.
