Hi, Netsight 3.3.x include this enhancement : "Schedule Database Backups. A new suite-wide option lets you easily schedule regular backups of the NetSight database. Select one or more days of the week and specify a time for the backup to be performed; the backup will take place at the same time for each selected day." http://secure.enterasys.com/products/management/downloads/NetSight.html Regarding the CLI database backup there is an article on the knowledgebase "9976 : CLI Backup of the NetSight Database" : https://knowledgebase-enterasys.talismaonline.com/display/4n/kb/article.aspx?aid=9976&n=6&tab=search&bt=4n&s= Using the CLI is safe, but you have to backup configuration files/templates and any other files not contain in the DB by hand. Does anyone else currently do backups in a similar fashion? -- Lucas Hazel <[email protected]> Communications Systems Officer (Networks) Communications Infrastructure Information Technology University of New England Armidale NSW 2351 Phone +61267732666 Mobile +61407569330 Skype lucashazelune "Clothes make the man.
