All,

Here are a few examples:
Configuration saved is Dec16_09.cfg

To save config to switch
show config outfile configs/Dec16_09.cfg

->To copy config to TFTP server>
>>copy configs/Dec16_09.cfg  tftp://192.168.0.90/Dec16_09.cfg

->To pull config from tftp server to switch
>> copy tftp://192.168.0.90/Dec16_09.cfg configs/Dec16_09.cfg

->Make running:
>>configure configs/Dec16_09.cfg <<

I like to date my configs with the name of switch or floor
Example:
Dec16_09.cfg
December 16th
Switch 09 (9th floor)

Jason

Thanks Jim,

It still failed. Below is the paste and the directory. Does it look correct
to you? The tftp works because I used it earlier today to upload firmware to
another c3.

Thanks!

Hi Mike,

It looks like the source filename is: "save_config603", which would make the
command:

C3(su)->copy configs/save_config603 tftp://c:/save_config603

The only difference is the config filename.

Regards,
Jim

I am having a brain cramp here. I have save a config file to the configs
directory. Its called "save_config603" I have my laptop set up as a tftp
server and trying to save this config file to my laptop. I think I've tried
every combination in the manual but keep getting errors. Below is a sample of
some of my attempts. Can someone help me out?

Thanks!!
