SID Port State Role Cost Priority --- ---------- ---------------- ----------- -------- -------- 1 ge.1.13 Discarding* Designated 200000 128 We know that there is another switch behind that port that may have gone havoc, but it is strange that this port started blocking after the reboot of the G3. show spantree stats active does actually show the port. What does the asterisk following "discarding" mean? How could I debug this issue further, nothing really useful in syslog either, even in debugging mode. I guess the next step will be sniffing the port with a hub (or port mirroring or whatever...)
