Hi Geoffroy This allows you to read and write/manipulate settings arounds users and devices inside our NAC/Netsight database. It uses our XML/SOAP API within Netsight to do this and is typically used to automate workflows when it comes to provisioning access policy for users and devices. Like customers link it with their student management systems, CMDB´s etc.
UNC hosting this list is a heavy user of this capability and may provide additional use cases. If you google Enterasys and SDN you will get an idea on what we are trying to do here.
