Hi, I think this has been asked before, but I can't find the email or the response.
This alert below is generated when I put my mac on the management VLAN and I open the printer browser window open and uses Bonjour to flood the subnet with SNMP packets to find a printer. What I'm wondering, is why the IP of the sending machine isn't listed. Obviously it's not an issue in this case as I know it's me, but I'd still like the IP reported. By comparison - our APC environmental monitor which is in the same subnet does report the IP. ---------------------------------------------------- -------------------------- Date/Time: 04/12/2012 01:25:20 PM Message: authenticationFailure: Incorrect Community Name Device Information: - Device: X.X.X.X - Device NickName: XXXXXX C2 1st Floor Edge Bottom - sysName: - sysLocation: XXXXX/1st Floor Comms Cab - sysContact: - sysDescription: Enterasys Networks, Inc.
