Hi Everyone!

First, thanks for such a great resource on Enterasys switches. I've read the
mail archive a few times on the web and that has helped me a great deal. I
finally subscribed because I am seeking an answer to a question that I haven't
found an answer to.

I have a B3 switch that I need to enable routing between VLANs.

To give a bit of background, we have a remote site about 300 miles away that
has a T1 internet connection. We are connected to that site through a full time
VPN tunnel between a Cisco ASA-5510 in the main office and a Cisco ASA-5505 at
the remote office. Needless to say, it's very slow and cumbersome.

We are upgrading our connection to this site with a dedicated microwave/fiber
75mbit connection. The provider is going to set this connection up as an
untagged VLAN. Instead of having their own internet connection, we are going to
connect the remote site to the internet through the main office connection
since we have plenty of bandwidth here and we want maximum connectivity between
the home and remote location.

Our B3 switch is currently in production, but I am going to pull it and replace
it with a couple of standby switches we have so I can experiment with the B3
without taking down the whole network. :)

So basically, to keep things simple, I want to set this up as if we have a 300
mile long Ethernet cable between 2 switches since resources between both
locations (servers, etc,) are shared.

Thank You,
Michael
